Opening Ceremony: HRDC’s New 100 Bed Ward

Celebrating the newly completed 100-bed ward at the HRDC complex in Banepa, patients, families, and well wishers gathered to cut the ribbons! The new fully-equipped ward will accommodate children who are recovering from surgery and undergoing rehabilitation. While the average stay is 3 weeks, some children require months of rehabilitation and the hospital ward is their home. HRDC completes an average of 2,500 surgeries each year, and has treated 96,054 children in the last 35 years.
