2025 Spring Impact Report: Celebrating 40!

One act of generosity is all it takes to prove what’s possible. Forty years ago, Dr. Ashok Banskota started by treating one child whose disability he knew he could fix. The difference for that child was between a life of suffering and one of lifelong opportunity. Four decades later, that act of generosity has blossomed into the miracle that is HRDC — where 124,277 children have received the precious gift of treatment and years-long follow-up back home. 

Carrying on this legacy of compassion, Dr. Bibek Banskota has joined his father’s side as HRDC’s Executive Director. The energetic team of 230 staff at the hospital and in the field stops at nothing to reach and treat children who need help. HRDC’s path ahead is clear: unwavering commitment to vulnerable children with disabilities.
